Elements made of oak tree

Type

Oak tree and glass-to-glass joints

At the entrance to the Visitor Center Spøttrup Castle, we have supplied the asymmetrical floor-to-ceiling window sections for the new welcome building.

Hidden in the forest that surrounds large parts of the area around Visitor Center Spøttrup Castle, is the entrance building, which houses service facilities, a shop and an exhibition space.

With experienced lines, E+N Arkitektur has designed a stylish building with elements made of different materials and profile systems, and with elements made up of glass-to-glass corner joints.

Although it is easy to spot the modernity in the elegant carved oak elements, the building leads visitors in the finest way into the surrounding woods, the castle’s herb garden and finally the medieval castle itself, where you are quickly captivated by the genuine medieval atmosphere.
